The cottages were super cute and clean! There were nice little extras like a Keurig with a variety of coffee, hot chocolate and creamer available. They also had a basket with snacks and drinks. Plus two folding chairs you could take to the beach. Which was about a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Lots of restaurants nearby and downtown was just a short walk to get to.
The outside area was well kept and the pool/hot tub looked inviting but we didn't use it. There is a nice lounge area for quests as well. It has books, a TV, a mini fridge with soda and another coffee maker with fixings. I'm telling you a lot of thought went into making these cottages feel like home! The bed was a bit firm for my taste but the pillows and comforter were so comfy. The bath towels were the size of infant towels, minus the hood. They really need to upgrade those to match the niceness and comfort they are providing elsewhere. The water pressure was good but hard to get a good feel of because of the shower head design. It sprayed widely.

We enjoyed our weekend get away to Dunedin. The space was great. Private, quiet, comfortable and within walking distance to many restaurants, breweries, the Trail, the waterfront (which we took a wonderful sunset cruise with the Parrotdise Express Tours). I would definitely stay here again and even invite friends to join us and stay in one of the other cottages. Thank you!

I personally grew up in Dunedin in 1971 through my high school years. in 1971 the downtown area was filled with bars and motorcycles.
Today, the downtown area is fabulous and a beautiful place to visit. it's great to see places like Sunnyside cottages bring the area to life. Sunny side cottages is a beautiful relaxing place. The rooms are lovely and decorated nicely. The grounds are clean and well maintained. I wouldn't think twice about returning to visit Dunedin and staying at the Sunnyside cottages.

This was a great find!! We had everything we needed. Our cottage was very clean and quiet. Was within walking distance or a short drive to restaurants and beaches. Antonia gave us recommendations which were helpful. Was a great get away and we will be back.

This was probably the most bang for your buck air bnb i’ve ever stayed in! There’s a pool, hot tub, little inside hangout area, not to mention the cottages are so cute! I’m so thankful we discovered this little spot.
